Update from Windows 7 to 10.

    Question

  • I am trying to update from Windows 7 to Windows 10>

The Program goes smoothly through the Upgrade, Installation, and gets to the "Configure your Settings" which is the last part of the Upgrade Program.

As soon as it restarts at that section, i get a message: "Your PC run into a problem and needs to restart. We are  just collecting some Error info, and then we'll restart for you. 100% Complete."  When the PC restarts, another message comes on: "Atempting to recover Installation." then it goes off and another comes on: Restoring to your previous Windows."  and the PC reverts to Windows 7 again. The Error shows up as C11900101-40017. Can anyone help me with this problem??

  • You are not alone most of people face exact same problem while upgrading to windows 10. If you having currently installed any third party antivirus application try to uninstall them and upgrade to windows 10 again.

If problem is still same you can try to upgrade with window media creation tool.
