I believe that you've reinstalled Win 7 at some point, and not entered a Product key - the key you're currently using is the Default Keyless Key.

You need to enter the correct Product Key from the packaging that came with your disks - then all should be well. Was this an Upgrade install??

I had on Windows XP home before i installed the windows 7 so i should suppose it is an upgrade.

I got windows 7 from someone but did not received a product key with it.However I am unable to get in touch with the person, do I have to purchase a new Window 7 package? or is there any other means of getting a product key?

Two ways to get a legal Key -
    1) buy a Legal Retail Win 7 Ultimate from a reputable store (NOT eBay!! or Amazon MarketPlace or the like), and use the key from that.
    2) follow the notification links, and Validate the the machine - when it fails, follow the links to buy a WGA Kit from MS. You get the Key immediately by email, and the disks a few days later by post.

You also have the option do downgrade by reformatting and then installing either
    1) your old OS
    2) any other OS or version of Windows
