What is the meaning of "Archive to web " ??

  Dear Team ,  Iam new to My Phone, Please tell me the meaning of "ARCHIVE TO WEB"  Do it means that my data will be saved to web while it is not avilable to my phone.???????.
  2. What about my privacy??? can any one see my data online???? is this data expose to public??
  3. What happen if there is any conflict in phone data(espl. Contact) & My Phone on Web????? which one it will take?? & after taking do the the web data will be changed if it is not Archived???
   
  Please clarify the above questions. :)
