Outbound calls stop working after a period of time. RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have OCS SE with Mediation server connected to Audiocode M1000 gateway.

    When the Mediation Server comes up, I am able to make outbound calls from Communicator fine.

    After a period of time, outbound calls begin to fail.

    If I restart Mediation Server they begin to work again.

    Sometimes if I wait without restarting Mediation Server they being to work again too.  Though I'm not patient enough to identify any pattern there.

    I have captured logs for calls before and after failure and they both look the same until the bad call has the message:

    TL_INFO(TF_COMPONENT) [0]07D4.0C4C::01/04/2008-16:34:04.744.0000a816 ((Shared),ValidateCertChain:886.idx(1791))TrustStatus.dwErrorStatus: WINERROR= 1000040, TrustStatus.dwInfoStatus: WINERROR=     100

    Any help is appreciated.

    GOOD CALL

  • Oh I didn't see this post earlier.  I just posted a similiar problem today. Try using VoIP Test then post the output.  I would like to compare and see if we trully are having the same issue.

    Is there a delay in the ring back?  Meaning, does the end user hear beeps before ringing when placing a PSTN call?

    If you don't restart the Mediation Server, will the callers eventually be able to call again?

    In my situation, the user places call to PSTN, then the same calls fall, and then it works again without me needing to reboot the server.

    Are environments are different though.  I have Cisco Gateway and Cisco CM 5.0 on the same switch seperated from the OCS environment by a juniper gateway.

    I will look forward to your response.  Hopefully we can help each other resolve this quirky behavior.

    Thanks, Jo
