Synctoy 2 stops working at the preview window

  SyncToy 2.0.100.0 was working fine until my PC decided to run CHKDSK on startup and found and corrected a few problems.

  Now every time I run it it comes up with SyncToy has stopped working when the preview window opens.
  
  I used to have about five folders that were syncronised all of varying sizes.
  
  I have deleted all the folder pairs and the SyncToy files in the directories. I then re-created them with the same result.
  
  I have uninstalled and then re-installed SyncToy with exactly the same result.
  
  I am running Windows Vista Home Premium on a HP Laptop with an AMD 64 X2 Mobile Technology  TL-60 with 2Gb of RAM and an NVIDA GeoForce 8400M GS.
  
  It works fine on my other machines (2).
  
  Has anyone any ideas on what I can try next?
