Windows Live One Care stopped my emails and generated a highjacking on my internet explorer RRS feed

  • Question

  • When I uninstall Windows Live One Care, it quits before the installation is complete.  It locks the screen up and I have to do a right click on the Windows Live OneCare tab, then hit close, or it stays locked up.

How can I get the unistall completed?

  • It is posible that a conflicting program is causing the uninstall to fail. Try this as a workaround. From the Start Menu select Run. Enter "msconfig" without the quotes in the run box. When the System Configuration Utility opens select "Diagnostic Startup". Click Apply and OK. Restart your computer then uninstall One Care. When One Care is uninstalled before restarting your computer open the System Configuration Utility again and select "Normal Startup", apply and OK. Restart your computer. If One Care failed to uninstall please contact support. How to reach support - http://forums.microsoft.com/WindowsOneCare/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=2421771&SiteID=2
