CRM 4.0 outlook client cannot athenticate RRS feed

  • Hello All,

     

    We are running a pilot of CRM, and everything is working via the website fine. When we load the outlook client, and try to connect, we get authentication issues. The workstation we are using is in a separate domain etc, however we got this to work in CRM 3. how do we get to setup the authentication user name and password for  CRM 4.0 so that is can connect?

     

    Just to add to elaborate a bit better:

     

    two separate domains.

    1 exchange

    clients in the domain without the exchange or CRM system cannot get the outlook client to connect as you get authentication issues.

     

    so the question is, how or where on the CRM component for outlook do you configure authentication?

  • I don't know if you can do it with OnPremise installation. I know you can do it if your Implementation is running on IFD (internet facing deployment), you have the option to input a username and password.
