The image file is located in the server at the following place:
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft CRM Server\CRMWeb\_imgs\masthead.jpg
You could copy another image with the same name within that folder.

    2.-
Also, you could change the .CSS definition, which is a TD, within:
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft CRM Server\CRMWeb\_common\styles\global-dynamic-styles.css.aspx

    The TD name is:
    TD.ms-crm-MastHead-Logo
Then, you could change the name of the image's file within this TD definition. (in case you want to use a different image file).

Also, IIS_WPG user must have read permission on the replaced file

Note: This is an unsupported customization. A roll-up or upgrade can overwrite the changes

  • Please check the install folder.. need not be C: drive.

Install IE Dev toolbar. It helps you find the exact name/loc of the controls

  • You can't do this in a supported way.

However, if you are happy to mess around with the files in the CRM web site, then look at the _imgs folder and in particlular the file masthead.jpg
