    Works great, but causes very slow shut down of new windows 7 premium computer.

    If I haven't used Money, the computer shuts down in 15 seconds or so. Running Money cause shut down to take 2 min and 15 seconds. Even if Money is shut off well before the computer is.

    Any ideas?

    Start with removing your LiveID at File->PasswordManager. If that requires another step, do that too.

    I would start Task Manager, and see what is running. Start Money, and see Msmoney.exe added to the list.... Anything else? Doing a screen capture (Alt+PrtSc) and pasting into Paint could be useful for making a comparison.

    Exit Money. See Msmoney.exe removed from the list.

    Note that while Money is open, you should have a *.lrd file in the same folder as your *.mny file. If that does not disappear when you close Money, that could help look at what to look at next.

    There is not somethig else starting at the same time, such as mnybbsvc.exe? Now mnybbsvc.exe would not be expected for Money 2006, but I was suggesting you maybe count modules open before, during, and after Money runs.

     

    Also, what about the *.lrd thing?
