Showing Line numbers and using Audio output

Question
-
I Use Node JS in Visual Studio 2015. Where is the proper forum? Since I can't find a specific forum I will ask here.
Is there a way to have the IDE show the line numbers for a Javascript module while it is being edited.? Error messages showing in the console always state the module path and the line number. It would be very helpful if line numbers could be made to appear in the module while it is being shown in the display.
I am doing testing in the VS 2015 IDE and have test code operating based on the machine type (Win32 or Linux) I would like to send audio to the speakers. I am doing it fine on the target machine (Raspberry PI running Raspbian Jessie using omxplayer.) but can't figure out how to send the audio to the speakers on the windows 10 system. Any help/advice greatly appreciated.

I figured out the line numbers, the only problem is how to get to the peripherals and apps e.g. music player installed on the windows machine for testing
