CRM saving every email I send out RRS feed

  • Hi I am using CRM 2011 with the outlook plug in outlook  2010 on a win 7 laptop. A CRM number is attached to every email I send regardless if sent to someone in CRM. I am truely a memory hog can someone help me?

  • What you see is what is called the tracking token. The tracking token is something that is defined as required by your system administrator and can be turned off and on under System -> Administration -> System settings -> Email

    If every single email you send is getting this token.. then its because you have set up your Outlook client to track ALL outgoing emails from Outlook. This can by changed by going into Outlook and clicking on File -> CRM -> Set Personal options -> Email -> Make sure the second checkbox is unchecked or change the scope of the "emails being tracked" in the picklist below.
