off topic - Help!! Can't find my son's EAGLE SCOUT PROJECT and Senior Project in Word 2003 after user name deletion!!!

  Help!!!  I deleted a user name account in Microsoft windows xp on our family computer that said "Pokemon".  I thought it was my son's games.  It was a user account with his highschool documents on it!!!  When prompted when I was deleting the user name-- I believe I did click "save" for documents-- but then went back and couldn't find them.  So did a system restore to earlier time.  We found the documents except when we click on them-- they don't open-- there is a windows message that says it isn't there and have to "browse" for the program that created them.  What do we do??? My son's project is due tomorrow-- November 30, 2007!!
