Error "Body must be 4 -to 60000 characters long" when replying (MS Edge only)

Question
-
When replying to a forum posts early I was getting a Body must be 4 -to 60000 characters long error.
When this error happens the spacebar key triggers a page scroll instead of inserting a space in the editor and I have to compose my reply in NotePad.
Microsoft Edge version is 44.18362.1.0
This issue went away after a few refreshes, not sure what got changed.
I cannot repro now, but it is strange.

I have Edge version 44.17763.1.0 on a Surface Pro 4 with a touch screen (which might make a difference). I have never seen the message about character length restrictions, but often experience strange things. Frequently I cannot highlight text in a post or reference article, so I cannot copy and paste into a reply. Other times when I paste into a reply the text is underlined and I need to use the HTML editor to remove span tags. Other times I cannot get the insertion point where I want in the editor, or I cannot enter any text. For me the fix always is to restart the computer. This works 100% of the time. This makes me think there is a memory management problem.

Agree with Richard, either reboot or at least start a new browsing session for these one-off quirks.
