  • Hi Suresh,

Yes that's possible you can accomplish this with either 2007 or 2010 MOSS. But remember it's really the Active Directory that does all of the work. I assume that you want to use it for presence.

  • Thanks Maurice, I would like to implement for presence only.

Is it possible to implement other than presence ?

Is it possible to integrate OCS 2007 R2 with Sharepoint, if my domain and forest levels are at windows 2000 native mode ?

    Thanks,

    Suresh.

  • Hi Suresh,

Sorry for the late response. I was indeed assuming that you were talking about presence, that's what i was talking about for sharepoint (and the most useful feature for sharepoint).

If i'm not mistaken you should at least run 2003 as the base for OCS 2007 R2 so to answer your last questions it wouldn't work in that setting.

  • Maurice,

We are interested in providing Presence awareness using OCS 2007 and SharePoint 2010.

Where do I see the configuration / settings related to SharePoint 2010, in order to integrate with OCS2007?

    Appreciate any feedback.

    Regards from Venkat
