Can't get back into my Microsoft 2FA account via backup. RRS feed

    When I try backing up my 2FA codes, I get this message: 'Your backup is not stored with <email>. Try signing in to a different personal Microsoft account.' A few days ago, I changed my alt email to be one I had access to and even after reciving the code, I can't get in. Can anyone help?
