Datastore SAN Not Freeing Up Space After Deleting file on VM RRS feed

    Hi All,

    I have datastore SAN mount to ESXi host.

    In the ESXi host, i create the vmware. 

    EX: The vmware hard disk 300 GB. 

    In the vmware, i have many data about 100GB (not OS). After i remove the data and empty recycle bin 100gb.

    But the datastore SAN can not freeing up disk space for what.

    Could you please help me ?

    I did check rescan all - refresh Datastores but not effect. The size can not increase.

    This is not an Exchange issue. I would ask in a forum for VMWARE or the SAN Vendor...
