Missing from Answerers list

Question
-
I went on vacation last week and when I returned, found that I'm no longer showing on the Answerers list on the Expression Web Forum. If I look at the users list I still show there. Is this a bug or is continuous daily participation required?

Ian,
The Top Answerer query is scoped to the set of forums being displayed. To answer your question specifically then I went to
http://forums.expression.microsoft.com/en-US/user/Ian%20Haynes/threads#page:1;filter:answered;sort:lastPostDesc
From there I can see that the last post made by you that was marked as an answer was to the Expression Media forum on 5/2/2008. Which is < 30 days. So that is why you show up in top answerers on the Expression Forums home page and also on the Expression Media forum
Your last post to Expression Web that was marked as answer was 4/20/2008 ( > 30 days) which would explain why you do not show up on the list there.

Ian,
You are correct, the query does take participation into account. As implemented today, the query basically filters for users that have answered a question within the last 30 days and sorts that list by their total # of answers.

To follow up on what Rob said, we also only show the top 10 on the forum page, so if others have answered questions while you were gone they may have bumped you down the list.

Thanks for the answers but it still doesn't make sense. I was away for 7 days and am now back answering posts. How long does it take to show in the answerers list again?
I'm shown as an answerer on the main forum page but not in the EW forum.
Seems like there's something wrong with the logic ??
