  • The other poster have pointed out there is no upgrade part from MCAD because you must pass 70-536 to qualify for all the current .NET 3.5 MCTS certifications.  I have MCPD C# Web and I think 70-536 is not a good exam a random walk on the FCL(framework class library) compared to the Web specific exams.  So for Asp.net you need to start from 2.0 because there are many structural changes in 2.0 that will not be covered in Asp.net 3.5 exams however the .NET 3.0 specific platforms like WCF, WPF and WWF are only in the new exams.
