Different Course Numbers for the same course name RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have noticed there are sometimes 2 different course for the same course e.g. Course 4628: What's New in Microsoft Office Word 2007 and Course 5449: What's New in Microsoft Office Word 2007. Is it the higher course number i should be recomending my users to use?

    Hello Chris,

It isn't necessarily true that the higher course number is the latest recommended version. However, in this case it is true that the 54.. series for all What's New Office 2007 content is the most recent version and must be used. The content in the 54... series is mostly the same as that in the 46... series, but you will find some minor terminology changes because the 54... series is based on the latest version of the software.

We are in the process of retiring the previous versions and in some time only the newer What's New courses will be accessible.

    Thank you,
