Help using Platform Ready Tool for MS Dynamics CRM 2011 approval (no longer applicable?) RRS feed

  • Question

  • (Seeing as my other post was in the wrong thread?)

We're working towards approving one of our products for Marketplace certification (CfMD) using the Microsoft Platform Ready site (http://www.microsoftplatformready.com), but we appear to be in a "grey" area, as:

    1. In order to certify for MS Dynamics CRM 2011, you require an online CRM 2011 instance (which it's no longer possible to create), and...
    2. There is no option to certify against MS Dynamics CRM 2013 (which we CAN create online trials for.

Am I missing something or are we just caught in a "transitional" period where no solutions can be certified?

    Many thanks.

  • Anyone at all?

Situation the same as of today - how can anyone test/approve their products against Dynamics CRM as things stand?

  • I'm in the same boat. It's almost comical.

It appears they have now added support for testing against CRM 2013, if that helps.

  • Yeah, I just realized they have a dedicated tool for testing CRM 2013 solutions.

It's still worrying that one cannot test 2011 solutions any more, especially since the new CRM leaves a LOT to be desired.
