urgent one care alert RRS feed

  • I got an urgent red alert from One Care. The alert said to go to the help center because my computer might not be protected by One Care. I went to the help center and saw a screen telling me to sign up for a free trial or buy today for $49.95. I activated my trial version of One Care - paid for it - some time ago. I tried to sign into help and to my account to check my status, but I had to use my hotmail addy. I couldn't remember my password, so asked to have a password sent to me. I couldn't select any other email address, so my password has been emailed to me at my hotmail address, but I can't access that address. Sheesh!! Any advice? How do I find out whether MicroSoft has mucked up my payment for OneCare and whether I have an active version or now.... and how will I ever be able to access my account?

    Using a Sony Vaio laptop and Vista.
