Windows 2000 OEM - Vista Business Upgrade Edition RRS feed

  • Question

  • Could someone please clarify the what restrictions will apply was I to purchase the Upgrade Edition of Vista Business to upgrade my geniue version of Windows 2000 OEM?

I chose windows 2000 due to development needs close to when Microsoft and other vendors stopped supporting the O/S and I would prefer to not have to shell-out for the full retail edition of Vista Business.

My main issue maybe that I may need to upgrade my system in the next 18 months as it is 32bit and time has moved on, but I was under the impression that this would invalidate the EULA.

    Any comments kindly welcomed...

  • Hi,

You can upgrade from your current edition of Windows 2000 to a corresponding or better edition of Windows Vista by purchasing and installing an upgrade copy of Windows Vista.
