  • Question

  • I have completed 2 tests 4 years ago, consider to take the last test for a MCPD. Are the previous tests still valid?

  • Hi greatlake;

    MCPD Certifications under (.net) framework 2.0 are about to retire on 30th June 2011, this exams are as follows:

    • TS: Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 – Windows-Based Client Development (70-526)
    • TS: Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 – Web-Based Client Development (70-528)
    • TS: Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 – Distributed Application Development (70-529)
    • MCPD requirement: PRO: Designing and Developing Enterprise Applications by Using the Microsoft .NET Framework (70-549)

    but the TS: Microsoft .NET Framework – Application Development Foundation (70-536) will remain for the mainstream support

    on Microsoft (.net) framework 3.5 for your upgrade concerns and again your previous passed tests are still valid.

    thanks.
