Hyperlapse result is "off-centered" when smoothing video of walking through a corridor RRS feed

  • Question

  • The resulting hyperlapse of a video of a person walking through a corridor appears off centered. In the original footage the center of the corridor was always kept in the center of the view. In the resulting hyperlapse the center of the corridor is in the right or left half of the screen, depending on whether you took a right or left turn in the corridor.

Is there a way to correct this and have the resulting hyperlapse keep the center of the cameras path in the center? When in the original footage the camera man walked a straight path keeping the camera pointing straight ahead, in the resulting hyperlapse the camera seems to slide through the corridor, slightly panned to one side.
