How long can you work offline? RRS feed

  • Is there a time limit for how long one can work in offline mode not connected to an on-premise installation of CRM?  A specific scenario I'm faced with is a user who will be going offline in CRM and also be using cached credentials while working disconnected.  Is there any correlation to working with offline CRM data and one's cached credentials, and would it be affected by the Kerberos ticket lifetime?

  • Alan, users can work offline for as long as they like. There are no restrictions based on cached credentials or Kerberos ticket lifetimes as far as I know. That doesn't mean, however, that it's a good idea to remain offline for months at a time...
