GPS location of phone... RRS feed

  • Hi All,

    i want to get the location of my mobile phone without the GPS...?

    Is it possible to get the location just using non-GPS phone....?

  • Yes By using either GPS, Wi-Fi or cell phone tower.


    Please look @ System.Device.Location 



    GeoLocationProvider provider = new GeoLocationProvider();
    GeoCoordinate coordinate = provider.Location.Coordinate;
    if (coordinate != GeoCoordinate.Unknown)
     //If The location not Identified Use the Wifi or Cell Towe

    This code i have to use in any of Windows Mobile device right...?

    Is it possible to get the location for all the other mobile devices?

    Is it mandatory to have GPS enabled phone to get the location and to use this code?
