"Stop running this script?" pop-up RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Hi,

so my problem is that pop up message keeps popping up during my script.
"A script on this page is causing your web browser to run slowly. If you continue, your computer might become unresponsive."
I made a script that works on big(over 50MB) text files and changes some of repeatable content inside of each which of course takes some time.
My problem is I wish it to run automatically on many files(which it did till last update-restart), however now I keep being tortured by this pop up message that script is slowing down browser and do I want it to be shut down and frankly I don't know if there is a way to just disable this pop-up or make an exception for this script in particular. Script was supposed to let me do other stuff while being performed on hundreds of files whereas now I am forced to wait for another message and to discard it over and over again.

Is there a way to handle it somehow once and for all ?

    Cheers
