Is Microsoft Security Essentials replacing windows live one care RRS feed

  • Will current subscriptions of One Care be canceled or transfered over to Security Essentials?

  • Neither, they are totally separate products.

    OneCare subscriptions are valid through the end of the subscription or until the end of 2010, whichever somes first.

    Microsoft Security Essentials is a free anti-malware only product which became available on September 29th.  You can install and use it at any time you wish.
