Cannot "save as" to a network drive in Office 2007 - CRM 3.0/3C related? RRS feed

    We've just rolled out Office 2007 today, along with the 3C version of the Outlook Client for Outlook 07. We're running CRM 3.0 on some of the clients. Those clients (only!) now can't 'save as' to network directories directly from Excel. Word & Powerpoint seem to work fine. Any ideas?

  • Also what operating system are you using?  I am running Vista, Office 2007 and CRM 3.0v3c and cannot duplicate this issue.  Are they trying to save to a mapped share or a UNC path?

  • I get a dialog box saying that it can't find the directory or path where the file is - it gives the full path including the file name. Then another similar box comes up, but no file path is shown. Unfortunately I'm not in today so I can't get the precise details, but that's the gist of it.

  • Running XP SP2 here. Tried both a mapped drive and UNC path - didn't make a difference.
