So what's the error? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Have you guys had this error before?

After reinstalling Live Mesh, I specified the Mesh folder path to be exactly the same as previous's setup. Mesh asked if I wanted to merge the folder with the one of Live Desktop (since the folder is not empty), after agreeing it gave me a MOE 409 error (resource conflict if my memory is correct). When I clicked OK to the error message, I was brought back to the folder synchronization setup again. However, the folder did get setup and clicking cancel from that point and on would have no effect on the synchonication. Great, so there's a bug to file.

Then it starts to become funny. After it start sync-ing with Mesh, I set up another folder which also has been previously setup. This time Mesh asks me if I would like to merge again. Clicking yes and expecting the same error..... nope. It works fine.

Just want to see if anyone has experience that before filing this. Perhaps I can't do merge before it starts sync-ing with Mesh? I need to verify this....

  • If you haven't already done so, I'd recommend filing the bug. I haven't seen this when merging a Mesh folder with an existing local folder.
