  • Hi,

Is it possible to turn on the tracing on the CRM server? Hopefully that gives a bit more clues. You can also have a look at the SQL server logs. Since this is intermittent it's truly a PITA to troubleshoot

  • The message 'The RPC server is unavailable' is most commonly due to network communication problems, though this is unfortunately a pretty generic message.

As the error is from the ReportServer logs, I think this is when ReportServer is trying to connect to the SQL Server. Is Reporting Services installed on the same machine as SQL Server, or a different one ?

  • Hi Rickard,

I attach logs from SSRS side, I am trying to pull out logs from CRM server tracer, and will attach here after I've finished.

  • Hi David,

    yes I think it so.

I already attach the logs in my previous post. And yes reporting services and SQL server installed on same machine.

    thanks.

  • Hi,

Considering it's intermittent there shouldn't be a problem with the Connection. Can it be some issue with concurrent Connections? (guessing a bit, SQL isn't my core competence...) Do other reports behave the same?
