DTMF tones not working w/SIP gateway RRS feed

  • OCS 2007 RTM, Quintum AF Tenor Gateway, NEC NEAX 2000 IPS PBX

    Calls from/to OCS and PBX work fine.  

    However, DTMF tones do not work once a call is established.   RFC 8233 is configured at the tenor gateway.

    When I do a trace at the gateway, there is no SIP activity when keypad is pressed.     Quintum support says that we should see something there...

    I have a trace log from the gateway, but can't seem to get it uploaded in the code section (too big?)

    Please advise...

  • Problem resolved:

    The problem was resolved at the NEC PBX by enabling DTMF outbound mode for SIP trunks (RFC2833).   It was previously set to inbound mode voice passthrough.
