Mesh on non Windows Mobile Devices

Question

Mesh is "Coming soon" to mobile devices, but will this only be Windows Mobile devices? Or will it support other types of mobile devices, say Symbian OS (eg, for Nokia N95)?

Hi Scøtt - Our plans are to expand onto as many platforms and devices as we can. Unfortunately, I'm not able to say when we will enable which platforms and devices at this time.
As the website says - more information on our initial mobile release will be "coming soon". Sorry I can't be more specific.
Thanks for trying out Live Mesh!

Hi Bleak Morn,
The mobile release does refer to a full client application for mobile devices, though we will also be providing a WAP version of Live Desktop that is designed to work well with phones.

That's ok, as long as it's in your plans :)

Does the "mobile release" refer to mobile clients, or simply compatibility with Mesh Desktop on those devices?
I can go to Mesh.com on my HTC Mogul running Windows Mobile 6, but the experience is very rough and non-functional.
I'd imagine that support for Pocket IE must be improved before it can be used to download a Windows Mobile client anyway.
It'd be so cool and immediately useful to be able to access the Mesh in any way from my mobile device.
