Synchronize failure after Rollup 7 client patch RRS feed

  • Hi Everyone,

    Im not sure im asking this the right place but after patching our clients with the new Rollup 7, weird things happened in Outlook. When trying to synchronize with the CRM everyone got an error saying that they cannot synchronize with other peoples appointments in the calender.

    If this is not the right place please let me know. :-)

  • You're not the only one seeing this issue--I'm also seeing it in some scenarios. 
    This has something to do with the new functionality to track appointments on delegated calendars.
    I have discussed this with Microsoft support and they are working on a fix. 

    I found in some situations doing a clean install with the new client installer here http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=60C4A6CC-59D7-416E-9F44-0AE8FF249768&displaylang=en may help.  In others, it didn't.

    Please log a call with Microsoft and let them know that you are having this problem.  When we spoke with them it seamed that not very many users had reported these issues.
