Just installed WHS and now the host computer cannot see WHS or other computers on the network RRS feed

    Just installed WHS (HP MediaServer) and the computer that was used to establish the installation (Win7 Professional) cannot see the WHS server or other computers attached to the network.  I can force the connection with "//192.168.1.123".   I think all of the network sharing buttons are correctly set.  Norton does not seem to be the problem.  Any ideas?

    Solved.

    Thanks for the tip.  It was the router.  The problem was solved with a reboot of the router. 

    Thanks....I was looking everywhere else!

    Sounds like a router problem - is your Server IP fixed or allocated by DHCP?
