After I run SyncToy (Windows 7) I got 2 errors -
folder creation - Access is denied (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005)
file creation - Cannot write to the destination file. Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (EACCESSDENIED)
I'm already running SyncToy as an administrator and I'm logged on the notebook as Administrator as well. .
The program is working OK on my desktop when I sync various folders on different drives but when I try to sync the desktop to my notebook - the notebook does not let me to delete or overwrite any file or folder.
The notebook is a part of my HomeGroup and there is a Share setup as well as permissions for Homegroup and even Everybody to have Full Control.
Yet, the SyncToy cannot write/overwrite/delete anything in the notebooks Documents directory.
This is bizarre. Is there any way I can fix this problem?
