Is there an easier way to migrate HTML email messages into CRM 4.0 using Scribe

I'm working on project migrating HTML formatted e-mails from Sage CRM into Dynamics CRM 4.0 using Scribe. According to our data analyst, Dynamics CRM doesn't like accepting HTML email, so he has to use a function to strip out all the HTML tags from the email messages. The result is that a nicely formatted email in the source ends up as an unreadable solid wall of text in CRM.

I was just wondering if we're missing anything obvious that could help us migrate formatted emails more easily?

Hi Neil,

I haven't tried this but I'm 99.9% confident you shouldn't need to strip the HTML out just for data migration. MS CRM (email activity) supports HTML into the body of the email activity and it displays the HTML correctly.

I would strongly recommend doing a test run before coding the function to strip the HTML. Without the HTML it might become hard for system users to read the emails.

Hassan's right, CRM is fine with this. I've stored many an HTML via web services. Don't see how Scribe could have a prob doing it either, but not sure.
