Outlook Express won't start RRS feed

  • This morning I was reading email just fine from Outlook Express.  Then, I tried to open it again and the only thing that happened was that the blue bar on the top of the window appeared with the usual "Inbox - Outlook Express" note on the left hand side. 

    I've tried to restart it from the usual icon on my desktop and also from Start -> Email Outlook Express and am having nothing but the same result.  I can't contact the newsgroups for help since they also use OE.  I'm really stuck and would very much appreciate some help.  I'll leave this window up so I can see a reply since I can't get a response from OE.
