    I bought this edition when I was running on Windows 98. Was pleased when was able to install on Windows XP.

    Now thinking of buying new laptop which would run under Windows 8.1

    Does anyone know if I will be able to load and install  and run MS Money 2000 Standard Edition Version 8.?

    which gives your options.  Money 2000 will only work with 32-bit Windows 8.1 If your new system has 64-bit Windows you will need to upgrade to whichever version applies to your region.
