Do we need to update the trusted code add-in in MS Outlook after upgrade from CRM 3.0 to 4.0?

Question

We recently upgraded to Microsoft CRM 4.0 from 3.0 (including the MS Outlook Client Integration software). Since then any user that is using Microsoft Office Word 2003 to edit e-mail messages is receiving the following popup message.
"A program is trying to access e-mail addresses you have stored in Outlook. Do you want to allow this?"
I believe this is a trust issue between CRM, Outlook, and Word. There is already an Outlook Security exception trusted code add-in setup for the CRM application (crmaddin.dll). This trusted code addin was setup for the 3.0 install.
1. Do we need to update the trusted code addin in MS Outlook after upgrade from CRM 3.0 to 4.0?
2. How do we resolve the error message issue when people are using Microsoft Office Word 2003 to edit e-mail messages?Tuesday, April 21, 2009 2:42 PM

The tool did give me additional information on the program trying to access e-mail address. Here is the information received:
-------------
File Location: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics CRM\Client\bin\crmaddin.dll
Description: Microsoft ® CRM Rich Client Outlook Addin DLL
File Version: 4.0.7333.1113
-------------
This looks like I may need to just have the current Outlook Security exception trusted code updated for the new version of crmaddin.dll.

We have applied all available client rollups. Where do you suggest we search? google?
I'm a little confused about what you are referring to with the .Net version. The users experiencing the issue on the client machine are running various versions of .net 2.0 and 3.5. So I don't think that is part of the issue.Tuesday, April 21, 2009 5:15 PM -
