Hardcoded Command's paremeter prefix characters RRS feed

  • Question

  • I haveworking solution that uses SQL Server 2005 as backend. I'm trying to use MySQL as backend database.

    I'm using .NET/Connector driver and parameters are using '?' character as prefix.

    internal static object GetSyncObjectOutParameter(string parameter, IDbCommand cmd);
    Declaring Type: Microsoft.Synchronization.Data.Server.DbServerSyncProvider
    Assembly: Microsoft.Synchronization.Data.Server, Version=1.0.0.0

    It tries to discover paramters using @ or : prefix. Finally it tries to find parameter without prefix.

    Could you extend it to trye match different prefixes or provide more generic (smart) solution?

    Maybe parameter prefix can be set/changed at provider level?

    Regards,

    Wojciech Gebczyk

  • OK, Let me/us know if you decide to change implementation for parameters and events (call On* methods even if there are no "subscribers").
