  • Question

  • Im am installing OCS 07 on a Windows Server 03 machine, but my Active Directory is managed on a Windows 2000 machine.  On the first step Prepare Active Directory, I get the error....  Failure 0X8007200E  The directory service is busy.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

  • You can prepare Active Directory from the 2000 server. Verify your domain is running in 2000 native mode or higher. If you have any questions and need immediate assistance you can review the public beta documentation, more specifically for this issue you can review the OCS_AD Guide. See the FAQs on where to get the documentation.

  • Thanks, I will make sure it is in native mode.  Will it hurt to change it to native mode while users are logged on?

    Thanks
