CRM4 AddIn disappears on first start of Outlook 2007 RRS feed

  • Hi together,

    I have installed CRM4 Server + Outlook 2007 with CRM AddIn (both SR14).
    On the first start of Outlook, the CRM icon in the systray appears for a second and is gone.
    If I close Outlook and start it again, it stays there, connects without problems and works fine.
    Why do I have to start Outlook always twice?

  • Hello Sascha, I'm not sure what you have installed -- have you installed CRM 4.0 server, Outlook and CRM 4.0 for Outlook all on the same computer? If so, this isn't a recommended configuration because it's usually best to install CRM 4.0 on a 64-bit server and CRM 4.0 for Outlook doesn't run on a 64-bit version of Windows.

    Have you tried running he CRM for Outlook Diagnostics tool? Have you tried to enable tracing on the client?
