Security Update KB950582 Error Code 80070426 RRS feed

  • Question

  •   I recently experienced a major failure of my laptop, for some unknown reason several parts had become corrupt so I reinstalled the factory settings. As a consequence windows update wanted to install some 30 updates and despite two efforts several have failed. All are showing error code 800F0826 with the exception of the above which is indicating error code 80070426. I have run the diagnostic and detailed below the report. Hope you can help.

  •    These forums are for the support of Windows Genuine Advantage Validation issues. Your post does not appear to be Vista Activation or Validation related and is, unfortunately, off-topic for this forum (as well as outside my area of knowledge).

I suggest going to the Windows Update Solution Center: http://support.microsoft.com/ph/6527#tab0 for additional assistance. In addition, on on the top right-hand side of the Windows Update Solution Center is a link to (No Cost) Windows Update support.
