Windows 7 Home Premium OEM Suddenly deemed not genuine

Question
-
Hi,
My copy of Windows has suddenly been deemed not genuine after many months of problem-free use. I have recently updated the BIOS of my motherboard and then had to roll it back due to an error. In the process of troubleshooting, I tried different configurations for my computer (removing RAM and expansion cards). It is now back to its original state, aside from the "not genuine" issue. Is it due to any of the aforementioned configuration changes I had made? If so, how can I re-establish my serial as being genuine?
Thanks in advance.

The configuration changes are sufficient to cause reactivation. You may have a damaged file. Click Start, type 'cmd' + Enter in the Search/Run box. Right click on the CMD icon at the top of the results pane and select Run as Administrator. Type 'sfc /scannow' at the prompt and exit when finished. Try to activate again.
If it won't activate online do it by phone. Click Start and type 'slui.exe 4' in the Search/Run box. Follow the directions.
