MRAS Error RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am seeing the following error logged on my Exchange 2007 SP1 beta2 server now that OCS 2007 RTM and Exchange are talking together.

    A service request to the Media Relay Authentication Server 'sip:<edgeserver fqdn sip address>;gruu;opaque=srvr:MRAS:bL1-1VEPP0q_33NqSIvo9QAA' has failed. The SIP peer address was '<pool name fqdn>'. The request id was ''. Please verify that the MRAS server is running. The connection will be retried every '10' minutes.

    Further trace information for support personnel follows:

    ResponseCode=504 ResponseText=Server time-out

    DiagnosticInformation=ErrorCode=1007,Source=<ocs inside fqdn>,Reason=Temporarily cannot route

    Microsoft.Rtc.Signaling.DiagnosticHeader

    Microsoft.Rtc.Signaling.FailureResponseException: The requested operation failed.

    at Microsoft.Rtc.Signaling.SipAsyncResult.ThrowIfFailed()

    at Microsoft.Rtc.Signaling.Helper.EndAsyncOperation[T](Object owner, IAsyncResult asyncResult)

    at Microsoft.Rtc.Signaling.RealTimeEndpoint.EndSendMessage(IAsyncResult asyncResult)

    at Microsoft.SpeechServer.Core.MediaRelayAuthenticationToken.SendMessageCallback(IAsyncResult result)

    All connectivity is fine; and the certificates and CA chains on all servers are consistent.

    Any ideas?

  • We see the following similar warning on the Exchange UM Server that is running Exchange 2007 UM SP1

    The sip address has a strange format that isn't correct.  We don't appear to be having any issues as a result but the error appears every 10 minutes.
