ADFS 2.0 error 184 and 364 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello All,

I just install CRM 2011 with ADFS 2.0.

CMR was working fine until I install ADFS. XML Federation Metadata is valid and installation was successfully.

But when trying to Login to CRM again, I get the error:

"There was a problem accessing the site. Try to browse to the site again.
If the problem persists, contact the administrator of this site and provide the reference number to identify the problem.

    Reference number: 5e37501d-2d91-49a7-9586-169d92bc86b6 "

The validation fail on the ADFs site

Event View error is 184 and 364. I saw many article talking about this issue, but did not help.

I have CRM on premise and install CRM and ADFS in the same server using the port 443 with different IP.

    Please help

  • I added a site binding using port 80 for the CRM site (without SSL), it let me authenticate without error.

When you logout, you will see the validation from the ADFS server. The ADFS still use SSL. That's mean the token validate the authentication when crm use port 80.

Any idea what make the authentication fail with ADFSwhen using crm with with port 443?

  • Configure ADFS to use port 444 and crm 443. Open port 444 for specific server on ASA firewall and connection established.
