I can see no problem with your report - although the bad formatting makes it very difficult to read, so I may have missed something. Your system appears to be properly activated.
What happens when you attempt manual validation at www.microsoft.com/genuine/validate ??

  • after the manual validation, was offered security essential, internet explorer 9 for using genuine windows, however black screen was there, pop up "window installer module has stopped working..." pop up severally and system propertity indicate its yet to be activated, if i click activate now" pop up is " reinstall window using cd/dvd..." no cd/dvd it is only preinstall, cant microsoft find a way around this frustrating and time consuming, cunbersome procedure for just updates - i had participated in many microsoft survey allways feel very likely to recommend windows not untill this issue, what were they thinking when they came up with vista only to withdraw there support, what assurance is there they will not do same for window 7? - buy microsoft stuff today happily and tomorrow support for the product is withdrawn only to have a cumbersome problem of update

Please post a new report - things may have changed.
Vista is still supported - what makes you think otherwise?

  • Vista is still supported but its service pack 1 is not? Why is it that internet explorer 9 can not be installed on vista service pack 1? Why the disparity? Where is the freedom of choice? In anycase though ¶ hv revert back to service pack 1 but for your genuine concern ¶ will give it a last shot and send the report after manual validation

Vista RTM is no longer supported because it is freely updatable to SP1 and SP2 - there are no good reasons for not doing so. SP1 is still supported until July of this year. Your choice is to update your system or not - no-one is forcing you to.

IE9 is only available to SP2 because technology in it requires support from stuff not available in SP1 or RTM. No-one is forcing you to install IE9, either - but if you want to use the latest innovations on the Web, then you have to have software that is capable of running it, and IE8 cannot deal properly with HTML5 or GPU-processing of web pages - and neither can Vista SP1.

XP is still supported (barely) - but only SP3. MS supports all Service Packs for 2 years after the publication of a later SP, and always has done - SP1. IE9 is not available at all to XP users.

Do you really expect any company to continue supporting out-of-date and potentially insecure technology indefinitely?
Have a look here for MS's actual timetable for end-of-life.
