Hello members of the microsoft community,
My xbox live communications has been banned, for the second time. I believe the duration of the ban is a two week period. I wish I had known that before with some sort of warning. One day ban, immediately followed by a two week ban seems like an unreasonable
jump. I know my messages to (sometimes in response to people trash talking me) were definitely inappropriate, and for that reason I accept the consequence. I would have, however, preferred some sort of prior warning. Along with this ban, I am know noticing
more error messages in trying to find a match in Halo 5 Guardians. I really hope this is not a related issue because I deserve the communication banning, but I have not crossed the line in terms of being able to play online multiplayer. I also received my
first system error message, a black screen with multiple languages letting me know something went wrong, this was before the home screen or anything, immediately as I turned my xbox one on. That is also an issue I would like to be enlightened on.
This being my second offense, I am asking for a reduced banning period. I'd imagine that is not going to happen, but at least now that I know it is a two week banning communication (along with some other kinks in the system), I will refrain from the conduct
that lead me to this forum in the first place. I also think that even though my (100%) of communication issues were message related, I do not think it is fair to not be able to be in a party chat with my friends (who regardless of our language) are in party
chat and are not offending each other, I can assure you that much. Messaging and in game muting for my account is reasonable and very appropriate for this situation. But I would appreciate party chat back because of how much fun being able to communicate with
my friends while gaming is, in fact, I'd argue that playing with and communicating with my friends is the best part of the xbox live community. So, this temporary communication ban feels like I am not even going to have an enjoyable time playing a game as
I sit there alone in silence. Perhaps that is the true punishment? In which case, again, I feel is not appropriate to the issue at hand.
Thank you (whoever actually reads this) for your time, and hopefully your effort in resolving this, or at least informing me further.
