Missing ABS entry under II7 default website RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a situation where I had both front end and CWA installed on the same machine.  I have uninstalled CWA and now all of the heading including ABS is missing from the IIS 7 Default Website.  I have installed CWA on a difrent machine now and i would like to find out how to repair the missing items form the Default website in IIS.  If someone has any idea please let me know.

    Thanks in advance

  • Since CWA is not supported on the Front-End server (thus not designed to be on there) the uninstallation appears to have removed important parts from the that server.  Depending on if the FE server is Standard or Enterprise you may be able to re-run some of the server deployment steps to reinstall the missing Web Components files/settings.

  • I am running OCS Ent.
Do you suggest that I run the CWA install or FE setup?

    Thank you Jeff

  • The Front-End Web Components, not CWA.

You should be able to reinstall the Web Components from the command-line:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb905989.aspx

And if you need to activate or register anything again, here's the LCSCMD commands for the Web Components:
